Through the Food Pantry Network the Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas serves as a distribution center for more than 100 local partner agencies such as food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, special care facilities and senior citizen centers in 12 counties throughout Northeast Arkansas.
Approximately 5,000 people in Northeast Arkansas receive food assistance each week from an agency or program that is supplied by the Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas.
While all of the network agencies are vital to alleviating hunger in our communities, the Food Bank plays a special role as the warehousing and distribution facility. Through this unique and collaborative relationship, the Food Bank complements rather than competes with the efforts of these agencies. Without this program, the other programs operated by the Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas would not exist.
